ERA-NET SMART ENERGY SYSTEMS EUROPEAN UNION JOINT PROJECT (19.03.2024)

The EU project titled "Shallow-Geothermal sourced Low-Temperature District Heating (S-GeoHeat)" applied by a consortium of Turkey, Spain and Austria was entitled to be supported within the scope of the "ERA-Net Smart Energy Systems" program. Dr. from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Lecturer Member M. Alparslan Zehir will be the project manager at our university.

Rail Systems Technology Workshop (01.03.2024)

Our Department Faculty Members Prof. Dr. Gökhan Bora Brunette and Asst. Prof. Dr. M. Alparslan Zehir, in the workshop where Metro Istanbul's practical knowledge and engineering capabilities coming from the field and the scientific touch of 20 academics from different disciplines; They made contributions in the fields of "Artificial Intelligence" and "Alternative Energy and Power Systems".

Accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fulya Çallialp, our undergraduate students Erkan Erten and Halil Ibrahim Karaoğlu successfully presented their work titled “Micro-Patch Antenna Design and Frequency Comparison: Efficiency and Performance Analysis” at The 7th International EMC Conference, EMC Turkey 2023, held on 17-20 Sept 2023, Bahçeşehir University, Istanbul.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Engin Maşazade's Appointment as an Associate Editor

Our department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Engin Maşazade has been appointed as Associate Editor of the journal "IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems" published by the United States-based Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The journal "IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems" is a journal scanned by the SCI (Science Citation Index) index and is one of the journals with a high impact factor among the scientific publications published by IEEE.  (25.10.2022)

TÜBİTAK 1512 Entrepreneurship Support Program (6.9.2022)

Our University Engineering Faculty Electrical and Electronics Engineering Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Fulya Çallıalp's project was entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1512 Techno-enterprise Capital Support Program BIGG.

With the 1512 Techno-Entrepreneurship Capital Support Program organized by TUBITAK, entrepreneurs can transform their technology and innovation-oriented business ideas into enterprises with high added value and qualified employment potential, supporting activities from the idea stage to the market, thus encouraging qualified entrepreneurship and internationally competitive, innovative, It is aimed to create start-up companies that can develop high-tech products and services.

TÜBİTAK 1512 Techno-enterprise Capital Support Program (BIGG) call for 2022 As a result of the 2nd stage evaluation process, the project named “Wearable Smart Accessories Supporting Treatment for Addiction for Smoking” prepared by our Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Fulya Çallıalp was found suitable for support as a result of the evaluation.

Success in Workshop Üsküdar Ideathon Program 2022 (1.3.2022)

Our faculty member Assoc. Dr. Fulya Çallıalp and her doctoral student Nazenin Güre were awarded the 3rd place with their Project in the 2022 Workshop Üsküdar Ideathon Program. A one-year office opportunity, company establishment assistance, mentoring support and the opportunity to meet with investors were also provided for the branding and commercialization of their ventures.
