Final Project Report Submission Checklist:

When submitting the Graduation Project reports, the following checklist will be taken as a basis. Please make sure you do all the steps step by step. All items on the list must be successful.

1- Has the student completed the MÜDEK seminar quiz?(This Quiz is made by Müdek Commission.)
2- After the similarity check of the thesis is done by the department, is it within the valid limits? (Total similarity rate should be less than 10%, similarity rate for each source should be less than 3%.) The written codes are also scanned for similarity by Turnitin. Are the codes added as images?
3 - Is there a front cover page, is it suitable for the format and is the name and date information correct?
4- Is there an inside cover page, is it suitable for the format and is the name and date information correct?
5 - Is there a table of contents and does it fit the format?
6- Is there a figure list page and does it fit the format?
7- Is there a table list page and does it fit the format?
8- Is there an introduction and is it long enough?
9- There is a research purpose section and is the content written appropriate?
10- Is there a literature research section and is it cited enough?
11- Is there a "Realistic Constraints and Conditions" subsection in the design section and is the content written appropriate?
12- Is there a "Cost of Design" subsection in the design section and is the content written appropriate?
13- Is there a "Engineering Standards" subsection in the design section and is the content written appropriate?
14- Is there a "Design Details" subsection in the design section and is the content written appropriate?
15- Is there a method section and is the content written appropriate?
16- Is there a Results and Discussion section and is the content written appropriate?
17- Is there a comments section and is the content written appropriate?
18- Are the references listed at the end of the thesis, are their number and format appropriate?
19- Are the codes added in written form? (The written codes are also scanned for similarity by Turnitin, so adding the codes in image format is prohibited.)

Thesis Report Submission:

Each group must submit their project posters, presentations and thesis reports to the related course folder before the deadline. The reports that are sent after the thesis report deadline will NOT be processed. The submitted thesis reports will be subject to Turnitin Control.

Only one student (Contact writer) in each group must register and make the uploads to the system. Course links for class registration will be opened 1 week before the report upload deadline.

Final Project Report Submission Checklist:

When submitting the Graduation Project reports, the following checklist will be taken as a basis. Please make sure you do all the steps step by step. All items on the list must be successful.

Format and Turnitin Control Process:

Format and Turnitin Checks of the documents you have prepared and submitted within the scope of your Graduation Project will begin after the date you submit them.

You can follow the process on page 2 of the "Group Information Table". The table will be updated periodically.
Description for the table: 1 Green: Success, 0 Orange: Correction,  -1 Red: No file/Failure.

The procedure for the control process as follows:

1. Completion of file uploads by the "Final Deadline" date. If the installation is not done, it will fail in the final and the Make-up process will be followed.

2. Your thesis report and poster/presentation will be checked by the Department Committee according to the criteria given in the "Final Project Report Submission Checklist::" and "Templates" sections.
3. If there is a situation that requires correction, the commission will send an e-mail to the e-mail address written in the "Group Information Table" regarding these points, stating that the requested corrections should be made. (E-mails will not be sent to those whose reports have no problems.)
4. After the correction, project groups upload again.
5. Re-checking according to the criteria specified in article (2).
6. Projects that do not make corrections after the final decision regarding format control fail for the Final and must follow the Completion process.
7. Making Turnitin Similarity measurements of projects that are successful in format control.
8. The commission sends an e-mail to the e-mail address specified in the "Group Information Table" of the owners of the reports that do not comply with the criteria specified in the "Turnitin Control" section, informing them that they should make the desired corrections. (E-mails will not be sent to those whose reports have no problems.)
9. Project groups upload again after the correction.
10. Re-checking according to the criteria specified in article (8).
11. After the final decision regarding Turnitin control, projects that do not make corrections fail for the Final and follow the Make-up process.
12. Projects that pass all stages successfully will be presented on the Poster and Presentation date.

Note: The Make-up process will start after the final presentations and the same control processes will be applied.

Turnitin Control

Turnitin controls of the thesis report which must be prepared in scope of EE4x97 and EE4x98, will be done by the department.

The similarity rate can be a maximum of 10% (<= 10%) in total, and a maximum of 3% (<= 3%) for each references.

In addition, source codes added to the report cannot be in image format. These source codes must be added in the text form.

The student who cannot pass the Turnitin control will not be able to make a presentation. Therefore, each groups must be sure about their Turnitin results meet the requirements given above.

Do not worry! You can check your Turnitin score multiple times.

The thesis reports that meet the conditions specified in Turnitin control can be presented with the posters and project presentations prepared in accordance with the templates below, on the Presentation Day.

Before submitting your reports to the department, if you have them tested for similarity through your consultant or another intermediary, make sure that your report is not recorded in the Turnitin system. Otherwise, the main test that our department will do may result 100%. This situation prolongs the process and leads to a situation of failure in the Final (direct Make-up).

Project Presentation Plan:

The groups that passed the Turnitin Control can only present their study.

All EE4x97 and EE4x98 Project Presentations will be held face-to-face.

Place for Poster Presentations: M4 Building Atrium.

You can find information about the poster (EE4197) printout in the Templates section below.

Presentations (EE4198) will be made in front of the jury in the planned classes.

The Timetable will be announced 1 day before the presentation day.

You can download the timetable by clicking here.

Scoring System

The Scoring System has been decided as follows.

First Semester (EE4x97)

Format +MUDEK needs (10%)
Advisor Score (60%)
Jury Score (15% + 15%)
Total (100%)

Format score will effect your total score in a binary way.

In the first semester, the student prepares a poster presentation and will be presented openly to everyone online. Faculty members of the department examine the presentations of the students and give the jury score.

Second Semester (EE4x98)

Format + MUDEK needs (10%)
Jury Score (15% + 15%)
Advisor Score (60%)
Funded by TUBITAK  (+10% bonus)
