Springer Journal Publication Success by Our Undergraduate Student
05.08.2024 • SpringerThe article titled “Performance comparison index for image super-resolution models”, authored by our undergraduate student Gökhan Koçmarlı and advisor Prof. Dr. Gökhan Bora Esmer, has been published in Springer's Signal, Image and Video Processing journal.
This work introduces a novel index that enhances super-resolution model assessment accuracy by examining structural patterns rather than relying purely on statistical or pixel-based metrics (such as MSE, SSIM, and PSNR). The accompanying software tool has been released open-source and free for academic use.

Prof. Dr. Onur Cihan, the chapter titled “Freshness Grading of Agricultural Products Using Artificial Intelligence” by our undergraduate students Zeynep Elbir and Berat Asrın Caferoğlu was accepted and published in the international volume “Artificial Intelligence Applications in Agriculture and Food Quality Improvement” by IGI Global.
