TEKNOFEST 2023 Medium Altitude Rocket Competition Finalist (FALCON Rocket Team)
18.08.2023 • TEKNOFEST 2023The FALCON Rocket Team, established under the Marmara University Aviation and Space Club with the participation of our department undergraduate students Ayça Damla Demir and Ruwaida Almadi on the avionics engineering team, qualified as a finalist in the TEKNOFEST 2023 Medium Altitude Rocket Competition and earned the right to conduct an official launch on August 18, 2023.

First Prize in TEKNOFEST 2023 Digital Technologies in Industry Category (MarCO Team)
27.04.2023 • TEKNOFEST 2023The 6th edition of TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, organized jointly by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, took place at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between April 27 and May 1, 2023. Our university actively competed with 19 project teams across 15 distinct categories.
Competing in the "Digital Technologies in Industry" category with their Autonomous Guided Vehicle Project, the MarCO Team won the First Prize Trophy for our university along with a 60,000 TRY cash award. The engineering core team included our Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students Fatih Küçük and Mustafa Erdem Tusun.
MarCO was founded as an engineering innovation team dedicated to Industry 4.0 standards, aiming to mitigate worker strain in manufacturing ecosystems, optimize operational throughput, and drive sustainable industrial efficiency. The team's primary motivation is preparing aspiring young engineers for autonomous factory environments while still completing their undergraduate curriculum.

TEKNOFEST 2021 International Fixed-Wing UAV Competition Participation (Team MTT)
15.09.2021In the TEKNOFEST 2021 International Fixed-Wing UAV Competition, Team MTT, comprising our department undergraduate students İbrahim Cahit Özdemir, İbrahim Tınas, Muhammed Atabay, and Mehmet Açar, successfully represented our university with their custom designed and manufactured Fixed-Wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
